A Word-ful of Books…
local writer available for World Book Day

Dave Wood, local poet, walk guide and comer-upper of a myriad ideas for projects and workshops is now available for bookings (hey, joke, geddit?) on World Book Day this fast approaching March.
Dave has worked in community language arts since 1988, twenty five years ago; he’s produced giant books, massive rhyming sagas, commissioned poems, sculptures, walk on board games and is now planning his second creative perambulation around the 1662 Sherwood Forest boundary.

Happy New(ish) Year!

Just to let you know I’ve got a few (creative of course) offers on at the moment…(until further notice)

One to one sessions           £40 for two hours
Group workshops               £85 per half day
                 £160 per full day
Commissioned poem/s         Starting £25

The prices depend on where you are; I may need to add on some travel expenses.

Sessions are always creative; they can include long or short-term projects.  They can be written, spoken, dramatic, sculptural or visual.

Commissioned poems are created with you in mind; after a short interview, I produce a poem which reflects just what you’ve told me, for birthdays, memorials, celebrations and beards.

I'm also stock-clearing my paintings (including 'what albert does', 'the swimming man', oilscapes (£15 each), 'fire and feathers' and many others; a shame to see them go, bu could do with the space.
